Eloquent JavaScript is decent, but it’s really, really old… The interactivity is a joke.
Codecademy is the cleanest and the best of the of the lot! (I haven’t heard about it before but I just used and it seems great)
I would add that, for experienced programmers coming to JavaScript from another language, David Flanagan’s “Rhino” book (JavaScript — The Definitive Guide), is an excellent resource. It’s paced just right, neither too slow nor too fast, and it has the added advantage of being an excellent reference. Another thing: it’s easy to read away from the keyboard; so if you commute to work on a train (etc.), it can help recover that slack time.
I would also add the JS tutorial of w3school
