awesomw pic…………..
Judy Dater is NOT one of America’s first women photographers. Although it is true that the 1974 ‘Imogen and Twinka’ is an iconic photograph, it is also true that many women were creating images WELL before Ms. Dater got started (or even, before she was born!). A Google “Early women photographers” will result in the names and information on many female pioneers in the field of photography from the earliest years.
I gathered information about Judy Dater from wikipedia, if it is saying Judy is one of America’s first women photographers, then who will justify this.
I don’t mean to sound harsh, but just look at the date of her birth. That, in istelf, tells you she is not among the first.
If people are interested in the earliest/first women photographers in history, there is plenty of accurate info online other than wikipedia.
